| 2006 | Motorcare in Uganda and Mozambique receive the Investor In People recognition. Mads Kjaer resigns from the Executive Management Board and Per S. Lundgren becomes the new CEO. |
| 2005 | New corporate identity implemented introducing AES Kjaer and Auto Kjaer as trading names for our international sales activities. |
| 2004 | Ford Motor Company appoints AES Kjaer (Automotive Export Supplies Ltd.) as Global Aid and Relief Distributor. Kjaer Group appointed Nissan distributors for Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Kjaer Group is awarded the MIA prize for Diversity in Working Life by The Danish Institute for Human Rights and Denmark’s Best Work Place (The Danish survey of Great Places to Work by Fortune Magazine) for the second year in a row. |
| 2003 | Kjaer Group joins the UN Global Compact Network. His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark visits our company. We win the Danish competition of Great Places to Work (part of the Fortune Magazine's global survey) and are thereby awarded Denmark’s Best Work Place. |
| 2002 | Our Danish companies are certified as Investors In People organizations. |
| 2001 | Acquisition of Automotive Export Supplies Ltd. (UK) whereby relations with the manufacturers Land Rover, BMW and Ford were opened. A professional Board of Directors established as a supervisory Board and as a corporate governance instrument in Kjaer Group. |
| 2000 | Kjaer Group A/S established as the parent company and our international sales activities transferred to newly established subsidiaries under the trading names Kjaer & Kjaer and Auto Trading. First employee shares subscribed in Kjaer Group. |
| 1998 | Generation change implemented in full whereby Mads Kjaer takes over all shares from his father and became 100% owner. |
| 1995 | Our first appointment as Nissan distributor in Uganda and first foreign subsidiary established under the name Nissan Uganda Ltd. (now Motorcare Uganda Ltd.) |
| 1992 | Opening of our representation in Uganda which has later developed into the Nissan distributor in Uganda under the name Motorcare Uganda Ltd |
| 1991 | The first branch office launched in Mozambique, which has later developed into the Nissan distributor in Mozambique under the name Motorcare Lda. Cooperation starts with Nissan and Honda for sale of project vehicles to the aid & development sector. |
| 1989 | The domestic dealership in Svendborg was discontinued and we become 100% export oriented. Bilhuset Chr. Kjær merged with the export company whereby Kjaer & Kjaer Worldwide A/S is established as an international trading house focused on supply of project vehicles, motorcycles, spare parts and relief goods to development projects. |
| 1987 | Mads Kjaer became 50% shareholder and Director of the company. |
| 1983 | Mads Kjaer employed to further develop the export activities which simultaneously were transferred to a newly established sister company under the name: Bilhuset Chr. Kjær - Auto Trading and Exports A/S. |
| 1980 | Renamed to Bilhuset Chr. Kjær A/S as dealership rights for various other brands were added. |
| 1977 | The export activities were initiated with an order for the Danish Volunteer Service in Zambia. |
| 1962 | Renault Kjær A/S founded by Christian Kjær as a domestic Renault dealership in Svendborg, Denmark. |
