Troublefree Data Entry - Streamlined to Enhance Knowledge
Kjaer Group has developed a global fleet management system that is web-based and designed for fleet asset tracking, cost recording and benchmarking. As an optional service within the Kjaer Group Extended and Premium Solutions the system supports GPS tracking devices and black boxes and will enable regional fleet managers and logisticians to manage multiple fleets in different countries.
The software behind the Fleet Management System (FMS) is designed for ease of use enabling trouble free data entry. The FMS will help to improve effectiveness of fleet operations and management through enhanced knowledge of “total cost of ownership”, supplier performance, vehicle and maintenance performance, accountability and for detecting misappropriation.
The system features 8 reports at the push of a button. The reports enable management by exception and highlights deviances in order to quickly take corrective action.
The 8 standard reports
- Vehicle; key data on vehicles within a fleet(s)
- Mileage; vehicle mileage or utilization within a defined period and deviation from utilization target(s)
- Fuel consumption; absolute fule consumption or per 100 km measured against predefined expected level(s)
- Running costs; costs of repair, fuel, maintenance and tires in absolute valules per km
- Financial costs; costs of renting/leasing, insurance, depreciation and road taxes in absolute values or per km
- Outstanding service maintenance; monitor adherence to service maintenance schedule and see overdue vehicles and vehicles due for maintenance
- Performed service maintenance; cost and description of service maintenance in any defined period
- Km allocation; allocation mileage to programs or departments to report on users and allocate costs accordingly
Technical Facts
The software is web-based allowing access from anywhere, no software installation or maintenance required. Fleet/vehicle data can be accessed locally, regionally or globally from any PC with internet access. The bandwidth requirement is very low and the system therefore allows for vehicle data entry from remote locations.
